Gotta Run 04:00
Outcasts and freaks oh they litter the streets, And the shop keeps they keep their shops closed. It's dangerous out here for someone like you, And aren't you quite a way off from home? The moon is out, darling, and the wolves are howling, It's best that we stay on our toes. I know they alarm you but they will not harm you, They just want you out of your clothes. Licking their lips as they stare at your hips, Showing nothing but lust in their eyes. They've practiced their read-through, don't let them deceive you, They want you to trust their disguise. They're handsome and charming, they'll treat you well darling, I promise they're telling you lies. They'll rip you to shreds at the first chance they get, So we've got to find somewhere to hide. You've gotta run from the wolves, You gotta push when they pull, Yea when they're tearing at your hair and When they tug at your clothes. Baby, take off your shoes, because they're coming for you, And if they catch you there's no telling what they're gonna do. You gotta run. When they're tearing at your hair and when they're tugging at your clothes. You gotta run Run from the wolves. Run from the Our feet hit wet pavement, we try to escape and We finally stop for a rest. Our eyes have gone wide as we both try to hide, And your heart's beating out of your chest. I pull you in closer, don't worry it's over, And than you for being my guest. I'd pour you a drink, but it's so hard to think With my teeth sinking into your neck.

Take me, Take me to the river. Cause I need to get away from the city and the people and the lights. Leave me, Leave me by the water. And I'll find my way home by the light in your eyes. To the coastline, Where I'll look for you. Will you be my lighthouse one last time? Let your light shine, shine it down on me, Take me to the river. Leave me, Leave me underwater. Let the current wash me away so that I can begin. I know, I know what drowning feels like. So I'll try to teach myself how to swim. To the coastline, Where I'll look for you, A little lighthouse hidden out of sight. Let your light shine, shine it down on me, Take me to the river.

Persephone 04:31
The tulips have died, They fall to the ground, The roses are burning and the wilting makes no sound. Maybe in springtime they'll grow tall again, But right now it seems this is the end. Oh, Persephone! Did you even know what you meant to me? Why did you have to go, oh, Persephone? Everything dies when you're gone. Oh, Persephone! Everything grows when you're next to me, But you say you have to go, oh, Persephone. Everything dies when you're gone. The winter will be, Too cold and too long, The flowers won't bloom and the birds won't sing songs. Maybe the sunshine will melt all the snow, But the ground freezes behind you as you go.

Dreamcrusher 02:38
Can you be enough for someone When you're holding onto something that's not there? And can someone be enough for you When you don't know if they still even care? And if I can't understand you, well, I think it might be might be time to face our fears And if you can understand me, well, Then what the hell are we still doing here? Cause I'm holding onto you like you're my last life-line. Fooled myself to think it's gonna end up fine. You have shown me nothing but my own worst fear. If you don't care how I feel, what the hell are we doing here? I never wanted to say goodbye but that's alright and, I never wanted to leave your side but I'm done fighting. I can't fake it any longer. I thought that we were stronger. But now the show is over so, go ahead take a bow. When the nicotine stops working, And the smoke just leaves a bad taste in your mouth, It's high time we consider all the cigarettes we should be putting out. But baby, I can't quit you and right now I don't think that I ever should. Cause with you I am lonely, but without you, baby, I'm alone for good.

She's holding down her sleeves so that they Still cover her wrists. While I was staring at her hands, the rest were Staring at her tits. I said, "excuse me, miss, I couldn't help but Notice in your eyes, That you are just as sad as I am and it Took me by surprise." And every time she looks at me A chill runs down my neck As if she's someone to remember and, She's someone to forget. And I still recall the face she made when I asked for her name. A smile appeared briefly but was Quickly gone again. It was as if she couldn't let herself be Fooled another time. So she turned around and walked away and Left me far behind.

Well the smoke clears the air And I lay back my head Feeling higher than should be allowed. My mind is clouded, Room is crowded, And someone has the music too loud. It's not so simple, he wants her, Well maybe he just wants under her skirt. And she don't want him but it's been too long Yea it's fine cause no one's getting hurt. As she sips on her drink and she plays with her hair, She decides to let him take her home. Not the kind of guy she'd normally like, But she's so sick of drinking alone. Playing a game called Lonely hearts and broken souls. The only rules are don't get caught, And have no self control. Playing a game called Lonely hearts and broken souls Don't lose your mind, or get left behind, And don't stop we're on a roll. As I try to control this I can't help but notice The games that we all play for fun. There's a small group of girls, And as one emerges She carefully chooses the one. It's not so simple, she wants him Well maybe she just wants under his skin. He don't want her but it's been too long And his patience has been wearing thin. As she speaks in his ear it's increasingly clear, He's decided he might take her home. He knows this girl won't rock his world, But it's better than drinking alone.
